Persephone sapphire ring

A stunningly vivid rose cut cornflower blue sapphire slice embedded in 9ct yellow gold.

With fae woodland foliage and intricate granular and budding/ swirling details depicting the beginnings of spring. Two smaller old cut Victorian diamonds have been cast into place on either side ~

Persephone, daughter of Zeus and Demeter, the goddess of harvest and fertility and also that of the underworld. Her return above the earth each spring symbolizes immortality. Her symbols are the pomegranate, seeds of grain, flowers and the deer.
